This ash tree, about 120 years old, located in a cereal field near the municipality of Sancti-Spíritus, Salamanca, Spain.

Fraxinus (from the classical Latin name for ash) is a genus of the Oleaceae family, whose members are generally known as ash trees. It contains 45-65 species of medium to large trees, generally deciduous, although a few subtropical species are evergreen.
