Laura Zapata is a Colombian composer and musician. Her career is marked by a deep fascination with experimentation and sound play. In her works, she seeks to blur the boundaries between different disciplines, fostering a dialogue between the corporeal, the plastic and the narrative, and exploring the intersection between art, science and technology from a situated and historical-social perspective.
Throughout her career, she has explored languages such as soundscape, minimalism, deep listening, electroacoustic music, live coding, performance, and sound art.
