How the tree sounds
With two speakers and two piezos, the Sentinel translates bioelectrical activity and sensor data (humidity, temperature, light) into a live sound piece: some data is heard as electronic insects; other data as environmental, meditative soundscapes. The lights mirror the tree’s pulse with calm, gentle illumination.
Your tree, your totem
Each unit is paired with one specific tree —an oak, an holm oak, an ash— and displays its vital signs in real time. A QR code on the back takes you to the tree’s profile: data, history and context, from any smartphone.
Built to last and to customize
Available as DIY kits or pre-assembled. Options in 3D print, laser-cut or felt, and finishes with organic elements from the tree itself (bark, branches, dry leaves) so each object is unique and personal.
The Forest Sentinel is not just an object: it’s an interactive piece that combines technology, art and sustainability. When you buy one, you support the research project and the planting and care of MolinoLab’s forest.
